Below is the information for the 2020 Fall Sports Information and Covid 19 Guidelines

Airport High School & Wagar Middle School Fall Sports Information

Sports Physical Information:

 

Physical Form- For any student that DID NOT have an MHSAA physical on file in athletic office during 2019-2020 school year, this must be completed and turned in on or before the first day of practice/tryouts.

Health Questionnaire- For any student that DID have a physical on file in the athletic office during the 2019-2020 school year.  This form must be completed and turned in on or before the first day of practice/tryouts.

Pay to Participate Information:

 

The Airport Community Schools Board of Education voted to eliminate pay to participate fees for the 2020-2021 athletic calendar year.  This applies for both high school and middle school athletes.

Covid-19 Related Guidelines:

  • Students MUST have a mask/face covering on upon arrival. They will be able to take it off when competing during practices and/or contests.
  • Students MUST have temperature taken upon arrival, any student who has a 100.3 temperature or above will be sent home immediately. They will also be asked 5 Covid related questions.
  • Students MUST maintain proper social distancing whenever they’re not participating during practices and/or contests.
  • Students MUST bring their own water, and will not be allowed to participate without it. Send them with plenty, and send it marked with his or her name.
  • Students MUST wash their hands before and after practice. There will be hand sanitizer available at every practice facility.

JV will meet at 3:00 pm outside by the locker room for check in.

Varsity will meet at 3:30 pm outside by the locker room for check in.

Middle School football will begin on Wednesday, September 9th from 5-7pm.  Players must check in at the Wagar baseball field.  Players must have a physical or health questionnaire on file in order to participate.

High School Volleyball Tryouts- Tuesday, September 8th - Thursday, September 10th 
Tuesday- 9th grade (4:45 check in) 5-6pm & 10th-12th grade (5:45 check in)  6-7pm

 

Location: Check in outside of Airport High School Gymnasium for health screening.
